Description
Extra-strong stainless steel ruler can be used to cut paper !
- High-quality, hardened stainless steel has acid-etched, color-coded graduations .
- Cork backing prevents slipping. Also raises ruler from work surface to eliminate ink smearing and bleeding .
- Calibrated on 2 edges with inches and millimeters. Inch calibrations include 16ths, 32nds and 64ths and the metric calibrations include 0.5mm, 1mm and "0".

This is a very high quality metal ruler. It is great for art projects.

I have to say that in a world where things were never larger than 12", I would stake my life on this fine piece of measuring brilliance. Never before have I been so confident in the precision measurements of objects 12" and smaller. And don't even get me started on the straight lines. I can draw straight lines on flat surfaces like I have a PHD in straight things. I would say this fine piece of equipment rivals the power of Thor's hammer. God speed Staedtler. God speed.

Not a lot to say about a ruler, but I really like the product that Staedtler produces. The markings don't rub off, and having the cork backing to lift the ruler off the paper slightly is nice. Worth the extra couple dollars over a cheap plastic one.
